Mutarara is a city in Central_Mozambique.
Most notable for being at the Northern end of the Dona Ana Bridge. The bridge is the longest railway bridge in Africa and until 2009 is the lowest fixed crossing point on the river the new road bridge at Caia will be the lowest. The bridge was used until recently as a single lane road bridge, but has now been converted back to a rail bridge. It is still possible to cross on foot.
